“There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more” ― Lord Byron.

The term "travel" has originated from a primeval word from French “travail”, which means 'work'. According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, the first known use of the word travel was in the 14th century. Although the old meaning is associated more with struggle, travel today serves multiple purposes. It can be recreation, exploration, trades, migration, or even pilgrimage.

We are currently living in a time when traveling seems to be a distant reality. Social distancing and quarantining now define our everyday life. For travel enthusiasts, this would be even harder. The best we can do is keep the flame burning. The memories, experiences, souvenirs, local foods, culture, and everything we have gathered in our travels, let’s preserve it.

MyTravaly Worldwide Travel Technology Pvt. Ltd has come up with an initiative to help travel enthusiasts to share their experiences. The MyTravaly's Closed Community. The idea is to connect travellers and travel enthusiasts from around the world through a common social media platform, enabling them to share their travel-related content. This is a first of its kind in the entire world.

“I believe ‘Community’ is the key to bring the world closer. That's why we started building the MyTravaly's Closed community. This is a hub for local travelers where they share anything and everything about travel like local food, local stays, city life, nightlife and everything travel. Today, we introduced to the world the #heTravelsSavvy & #sheTravelsSavvy to connect with fellow travelers everywhere in order to bring the world closer”. ― Mr.Hamlet Roy, Founder & CEO of MyTravaly.com

To enable this initiative to reach all potential stakeholders, we have come up with a social media campaign with hashtags, #HeTravelsSavvy, and #SheTravelsSavvy. The idea is to attract travellers of all genders since the experiences and ways of traveling would be different for everyone.

What is #HeTravelsSavvy/ #SheTravelsSavvy? We lived in a world where we could call our friends in a blink of an eye and set on a bike trip one sudden morning, probably to Kulu Manali or even Munnar. The sheer rush of adrenaline of those incredible trips with a sense of anticipation and exhilaration churning out from the impeccable bond of friendship is something that can never be replaced.

Then there are solo travellers and backpackers who set out to explore the unexplored, both in the world and within themselves. #HeTravelsSavvy/ #SheTravelsSavvy is about reliving those memories and inspiring others with your enchanting, giggling, or spine-chilling anecdotes.

What is #SheTravelsSavvy? Society has always frowned upon women travelling. Be it alone or in a group, due to reasons attributed to safety, social norms, consideration as weaker and many times because of the taboo that says “women-shouldn’t-do-it” and a lot more.

But times have progressed. In the present world, there are hundreds and thousands of solo female travellers around the world. There are women who have gone on bike trips traversing the entire country, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. There are girl gangs who set out to enjoy the pleasures of freedom from patriarchal restrictions. And they do it with all the flying colours of the rainbow. #SheTravelsSavvy is about encouraging female travellers and travel enthusiasts to share their stories.

For those whose dream hasn’t been fulfilled, to share their aspirations. Thus, they can connect with fellow female travellers so that when the pandemic is over, they would have gathered enough courage to set out on the journey they have always wanted to take.
