Doddabetta Peak

Emerald Lake

You get the perfect reflection of the surrounding trees and tea plantations in the lake, hence the name Emerald Lake. It is a good place for a picnic and some relaxation. Kalahatti Waterfall

15km away from Ooty, you will find Kalahatti waterfalls. If you are travelling after the monsoon, then this is a must-visit place. This place is good for birdwatchers. There is also an area that gives you a full view of the fall.

Botanical Garden

This garden is famous for its thousands of flowers and plant species. It is spread over 55 acres of land. It also has a fossil tree trunk which is said to be as old as 20 million years. The variety of flowers makes it interesting for nature lovers.

Ooty Tea Factory-A must-visit place for all tea lovers. The tea factory tells us a lot about the process of making tea leaves, their use across the globe, and their history. The tea factory is spread over an area of one acre overlooking the Nilgiri hills, making it a factory with a view.
