Why should you go shave-free in November?

No-Shave November is a month-long campaign in which people refrain from shaving and grooming to spark discussion and raise cancer awareness. The campaign encourages both men and women to refrain from using scissors and clippers during November.
For one month, one is supposed to say goodbye to the razor, including saying 'no' to shaving the beard.

The money saved will be used to help people fight cancer and to raise awareness about the disease. Remember to eat a healthy, vitamin-rich diet because your blood count and blood sugar level can affect hair growth.

Movember Foundation

The Movember Foundation launched the campaign in 2004, intending to educate men about prostate and testicular cancer. The goal is to raise men's health awareness by embracing hair, which many cancer patients lose during treatment. To participate, simply refrain from shaving your facial hair and moustache for a month and donate your monthly shave expenses to cancer prevention efforts.

Essentially, the initiative encourages participants to donate the money they would normally spend on grooming supplies like razor blades and shaving cream to one of the organization's funded programmes.
