Sikkim Tour Packages: Explore the Best of East Sikkim

We all have heard the idiom “good things come in small packages”, and this idiom stands particularly true when it comes to describing Sikkim. Despite its small size, this beautiful Himalayan paradise is packed with copious attractions,  including monasteries, viewpoints, valleys, rivers and lakes. It boasts breathtaking natural beauty, stunning wildlife, exquisite greenery, and snow-covered mountains.

Sikkim is a picturesque alpine state, located in the northeast India, and is one of the most visited states in the region. Even a small part of Sikkim has abundant attractions to explore and experience. For instance, North Sikkim is home to Yumthang Valley (the valley of flowers), Gurudongmar Lake (alpine lake), Zero Point (the last civilian point). Likewise, East Sikkim has Tsomogo Lake, Tashi View Point and the capital city Gangtok. In this blog, we will explore more on East Sikkim.

One of the must-visit attractions in Kupup is the Elephant Lake which earned its name due to its elephant-like shape. It is also popular by the name Bitan Cho and considered one of the most sacred lakes in Sikkim. You will witness numerous colourful Tibetan prayer flags that were tied around the lake by devotees.
