  2. Horanadu- It is a famous Annapoorneshwari Temple in the Chikmaguluru district popular for the Pilgrimage site where the Annapoorneshwari goddess is believed to provide nourishment and food.
  3. Kalasa- Approximately 92 Kilometers from Chikmagalur district in Karnataka and on the banks of river Bhadra is home to Kalaseshwara Temple devoted to Lord Shiva where a lush green environment surrounds the town and is worth exploring and provides an opportunity for the nature walk. 
  4. Sringeri- It is located at a distance of approximately 90 kilometers from the Kudremukh and is a pilgrimage site dedicated to Goddess Saraswati. The Temple is unique in its ways, the architecture of the Temple and the serene environment make this place a peaceful site. The most important point is that it is believed that by worshipping Goddess Saraswati one can receive the blessings from Parvati, Laxmi along with Brahma, Shiva, and Vishnu. 
  5. Netravathi- It is one of the most wonderful treks near Kudremukh and offers an amazing view also it is suitable for beginners as it is easy to go.
  6. Udupi and Manipal- After the Kudremukh trek you can go for the Udupi and Manipal, it gives you an amazing coastal experience where Udupi is famous for its temples, beaches, and delectable cuisine while Manipal is famous for its vibrant educational culture.
  7. Kurinjal Peak: After the Kudremukh trek you can go to the Kurinjal Peak located in Mangalore which is approximately 20 Kilometers from Kudremukh, it is famous for its peaceful nature and relaxing environment as you will not find this place crowded.


Difficulties in Kudremukh Trek


A few things should be kept in mind while doing the Kudremukh Trek such as


  1. The rocky areas could be slippery as small streams pass in the forest which can be a bit tricky.
