Bullet Baba's Mandir, Rajasthan

This temple in Jodhpur's Pali district has an interesting backstory. Om Singh Rathore Banna, also known as Om Banna, was riding his bullet bike from Chotalia to Pali.
He lost control while riding was involved in an accident, and died instantly.

The local cops delivered his bike to the police station the next day, but the bike mysteriously vanished from the station. It was discovered at the scene of the collision. The police attempted to transport the bike to the police station several times, but it was always discovered on the accident scene.

For the residents, this experience was nothing short of a miracle, and they have since begun to worship the bike. Every traveller makes a point to bow down beside this temple, as failure to do so is considered unlucky.

Whisky Devi Temple, Madhya Pradesh

God is offered alcohol in this temple, also known as the Kal Bhairav temple in Madhya Pradesh. According to panchakarma tantric rites, five objects had to be offered to the God and Goddess in the past, but currently, only alcohol is served to the God and Goddess.

Outside the temple, sellers sell a thali that includes coconut, flowers, and alcohol to be offered to the shrine. Outside the temple, the government has set up a number of shops where you can buy both regional and abroad liquors. 

Karni Mata Temple, Rajasthan

The Karni Mata temple in Bikaner, Rajasthan, this shrine is also known as the Rat Temple because of the 25,000 rats that are worshipped here. People come from all across the country to pay their respects to these rats and a few foreign tourists stop by to see what all the fuss is about.

Rats will be scurrying around your feet as you pray at this temple. After eating the items that the rats ate, the devotees consider themselves prosperous. After each rat dies, a silver statue is built.

Aeroplane Gurudwara, Punjab

When a bunch of guys were waiting for their visas to travel abroad many years ago, it is said that they offered toy aeroplanes at Baba Nihal Singh Gurudwara to fulfil their dream, and their wish was accomplished.

Since then, the Gurudwara in Jalandhar is called as Aeroplane Gurudwara.  Everyone who desires to travel abroad worships Lord and offers toy aeroplanes. On weekends, some 200 toy aeroplanes are gathered and donated to orphans.

Channapatna Dog Temple, Karnataka

There's an old saying you should trust animals more than humans and this Kannada businessman has given new meaning to that concept. In 2010, a local businessman constructed a temple to honour Goddess Kempanna, and two dogs mysteriously vanished from the village.

In the man's dreams that night, the Goddess Kempanna appeared and wished for the temple to be built in their honour. Dogs have been honoured in this shrine since then.

Munch Murugan Temple, Kerala

Munch Murugan is also known as Baby Murugan, is a 300-year-old God who is madly in love with munch chocolate. A Muslim child who visited this temple ten years ago became ill and spent the night singing Murugan's name. The next day, his family accompanied him to the temple, where they offered prasad to God as directed by the priest.

The youngster was adamant about only giving munch chocolate, but he miraculously recovered at that same moment. Since then, every devotee who visits this temple brings chocolate to offer to the shrine. Nestle's fortunes have improved.

Chinese Kali Temple, Kolkata

This temple's fusion name truly suits it. The Goddess is located in Tangra, also known as Kolkata's Chinatown, and serves noodles, chop suey, and rice. This temple is thought to play an important role in the lives of Chinese people. Every Chinese person who enters this temple does it barefoot, exactly like we Indians.

Azhagar Kovil Temple, Tamil Nadu

The Azhagar Kovil temple is about 20 km from Madurai. The Lord Vishnu temple is also well-known and pilgrims are served dosa as prasad here. The dosa is created with black urad dal and ghee and visitors come from all over the world to experience it. Devotees here also offer grains along with the dosa to the Lord.
