State-wise travel guidelines amid COVID-19

Although the second wave of Covid-19 has come to an end, we have to follow some guidelines while travelling. Most of the states have allowed travelling nationally and internationally. Guidelines provided to the travelers are (State Wise):

Maharashtra

  • Install the AarogyaSetu Application.
  • RT-PCR is only required if you are travelling from any other state
  • Passengers will be thermal screened.
  • Passengers travelling from Delhi, Rajasthan, Goa and Gujrat must carry a negative RT-PCR test report, the test must be taken within 72 hours before arrival.
  • Flight guidelines are unaffected and you may consider the guidelines your flight provides.
  • Passengers travelling to Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad and Nagpur must carry a negative RT-PCR test report, the test report must be within 48 hours before arrival.
  • Marked passengers arriving in Shirdi must get their left hand pasted with quarantine information.
  • Guidelines for International travelers are given on the state’s official website.

Goa

  • Install the AarogyaSetu Application.
  • Immune domestic travelers are not required to be in quarantine.
  • Passengers entering Goa must carry a negative COVID-19 report, the validity of 72 hours or a COVID vaccination certificate with both doses taken.
  • International travelers visiting Goa must go through government presented guidelines on their official website.

Delhi

  • Install the AarogyaSetu Application.
  • Face masks are compulsory (even inside personal vehicles).
  • COVID-19 test report is not required.
  • Check airline guidelines
  • Thermal screening is a must.
  • Passengers who recite in Delhi, and are boarding back in the city have to undergo COVID-19 testing. If tested positive, then you have to be self-quarantined for a minimum of 10 days.
  • International travelers must go through the official state government guidelines.

Karnataka

  • Install the AarogyaSetu Application.
  • COVID-19 test report is not necessary.
  • Thermal screening is must.
  • International travelers must go through the official state government guidelines.

Uttar Pradesh

  • Install the AarogyaSetu Application.
  • Thermal screening is a must.
  • You are required to have a RT-PCR negative report for landing in Lucknow.
  • Any other cities do not require a RT-PCR negative report for landing except travelers coming from Kerala and Maharashtra.
  • Travelers visiting Agra must go through the RT-PCR test after arriving.

Uttarakhand

  • Install the AarogyaSetu Application.
  • Register on the http://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in/website.
  • Thermal screening Is a must.
  • All passengers must be carrying a Negative RT-PCR test report of within 72 hours.
  • Passengers having a positive report will have to stay in quarantine.

Himachal Pradesh

  • COVID-19 test report is not required to enter Himachal Pradesh.
  • Kibber village is currently closed for travel and tourism.
  • Before travelling, you must register on the government’s official website.
  • Only 3 passengers are allowed to sit in sedan vehicles.
  • Only 4 passengers are allowed to sit in SUVs.

Kerala

  • Install the AarogyaSetu Application.
  • Register on https://covid19jagratha.kerala.nic.in/ website and grab the e-pass, to travel in the state.
  • Home quarantine of 14 days for everyone who does not has a negative covid report.
  • Passengers have to undergo RT-PCR COVID-19 testing in order to enter any town.

Rajasthan

  • Some cities are still in the effect of lockdown.
  • AarogyaSetu Application is a must
  • Thermal screening of passengers is must.
  • Vehicles being used for emergency purposes are only allowed to enter the state.
  • The travelers are required to submit a Self-Health Declaration form at the of arrival.
  • Passengers going to Udaipur have to submit their COVID-19 test report online.
  • 15-day quarantine if you do not carry a negative COVID-19 test report.
  • Passengers must have taken both doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine.

 Andhra Pradesh

  • Install the AarogyaSetu Application.
  • Passengers entering Andhra Pradesh must register on Spandana.
  • COVID-19 test report is not required to enter the state.
  • Thermal screening is must.
  • Domestic travelers are not required to be in quarantine.
  • International travelers must check the official government guidelines on their website.

 Punjab

  • Install the AarogyaSetu Application.
  • Passengers have to register on the COVA Punjab application in order to enter the state.
  • Lockdown is still in effect in some of the cities.
  • Passengers must have a COVID-19 Negative test report of within 72 hours at the time of arrival.
  • International travelers have to take the Rapid Antigen Test at the arriving airport. 7 Day quarantine if the report comes positive.

 Odisha

  • Install the AarogyaSetu Application.
  • Travelers entering Odisha must register on https://covid19.odisha.gov.in/ .
  • Passengers travelling to Odisha must carry a negative COVID-19 test report taken within 48 hours of arrival.
  • 7 days of quarantine is a must for those who do not have a test report or vaccination certificate.
  • International Travelers must go through the government provided guidelines presented on their website.
