Valley of Flowers, Uttarakhand

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Valley of Flowers is a meeting point of the Eastern Himalayans and also the Zanskar range in Uttarakhand. A scenic valley with untapped wildflowers blooming under the snow-capped Himalayan peaks and it had been discovered by mountaineer Frank Smith in 1931.

The place is famous for the beauty of flowers in bloom and their medicinal herbs. One can walk through the streams, meadows of the valley and absorb the sweetness around you; also with wildflowers like poppy, daisies, petunias and more blooming around you. Rajmachi, Maharashtra

Rajmachi in Maharashtra is a popular hiking destination in a state with many lovely trekking trails. It is close to both Mumbai and Pune. The Rajmachi trip, which is close to the well-known hill stations of Lonavala and Khandala, encompasses around 15 km of very pleasant terrain. Before heading down, you can spend the night in the caves at the top.

Rajmachi is a place where you can witness the wonders of old Indian architecture and how nature eventually recaptures everything, including fort ruins, temples, monuments, and caverns to explore.

Kodachadri, Karnataka

At 1,343 m, Kodachadri is the state's tenth highest peak, located in the mountainous Shimoga district of Karnataka. It is also a state-designated natural heritage site, which should give you an impression of the lovely woodland trails available. With its lush forests, jungle trails, breathtaking scenery, and waterfalls along the route, Kodachadri stands out in a district with plenty of hills to scale and stunning waterfalls.

A great little nature getaway, the complete ascending and descending trek to Kodachadri takes around two days. Along the route, you may see species such as the Malabar Pied Hornbill and the Langoor.

Pali Waterfall Trek, Goa

The first thing that comes to mind when we think of Goa is its stunning golden west coastline and the vibrant celebrations that the place is so proud of. Goa, on the other hand, has a lot more to offer.

The Pali Waterfall, also known as the Shivling Falls, adorns this sunny state and is one of the country's most exotic jungle hikes. The falls are located in a little community called Valpoi, which is surrounded by one of the state's most dense rainforest districts. Keep a lookout for the resident reptiles and cobras.

The terrain on which the walking track is built is pretty challenging, making it ideal for experienced trekkers. The trekking trail begins in Valpoi village and is approximately 6 km long. Gravel roads, muddy streams, and thick, lush greenery make up the path.

Talle Valley, Arunachal Pradesh

Some of the world's largest pine forests can be found in Arunachal Pradesh tucked in deep valleys filled with bananas and venerable fern trees. The Talle Valley in Arunachal Pradesh is well recognized as a jungle trekking destination since it is a treasure trove of nature with extensive flora& fauna and has the highest forest cover of all Indian states.

The hikes here are characterised by thick bamboo patches that are unique to this area, as well as lush natural vegetation. However, for the most part, the jungles in this region are still devoid of the urban touch and human interference, as activities such as jungle hiking and forest camping have yet to flourish.

Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh

This national park is well known among trekkers and wildlife enthusiasts, and it is also one of India's best jungle trekking locations.
